I dont really care about the character itself, Im just thinking about how the model itself is alot better quality then most in games stuff.

Though I think most people are over reacting, just lke when they thought inscriptions would destroy the economy

Though Id like to note its nice seeing something like that, it has a little more style. Guild wars has decent visuals, but they dont stand out too much

Well, I do not care for minipets.

I think it is ugly, but i fear it might become a player race and this would be a reason to move to another game for me.

Wait, no one compared this to WoW in some obscure way yet? So far we've got a Harry Potter reference, Gremlins, Star Wars, Disney, and the ever-present "jump the shark" doomsday comments we tend to see in every thread. Get on the ball, people. It's got pointy ears... doesn't that make it exactly like a Night Elf? ANet is obviously selling out and hurtling every shark in the ocean between here and the Ring of Fire Islands.

I'm starting to think most folks here just love to hate stuff, and post about it. Do you even enjoy Guild Wars? If so, why not have a little faith in the creators? I admit I don't want a "cutsey wootsey" playable race in GW2 just as much as the next guy or gal, but we have no idea what ANet has planned, so how about we just chill out? Save your /notsigned macro for when we actually get some info.

Although I don't even care much for mini pets, I will say that the texturing on the model is one of their best, imho. However, I'll be buying the magazine for the ARTICLE. *gasp*

off-topic: Although Anet is moving into new direction I wil always have faith in them since they bring up so many happy memories ( Events - Gifts - new PvP style ect.)
